Common use
Cialis is a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5 inhibitor). The active substance of the drug is Tadalafil. When combined with sexual stimulation, Tadalafil increases cGMP levels in the cavernous body of the penis, relaxes arterial smooth muscles and increases the flow of blood to the penis, which results in a strong and stable erection. Cialis is not effective when used without sexual stimulation. The remedy improves the quality of erection and allows having a long sexual intercourse. Tadalafil is active up to 36 hours. With sexual stimulation, the drug starts acting in 15 minutes.
